Whenever we think of losing weight, we get confused of whether to focus more on diet or on exercise, and which is more important.

At times, we think that this extra fat will burn off only through exercising. Or if I am exercising well then I do not require a proper diet, I can eat anything and still lose weight.

But through this, it is really difficult to lose weight properly and regularly in this manner, because proper diet is required even when you are exercising.

That is why it is said that weight loss depends on 70% diet and 20% exercise. It means that diet helps you more in losing weight, and exercise speeds up your weight loss process.

So if you want to lose weight properly and regularly, pay more attention on your diet. Whatever you eat will decide if you will lose weight, gain weight or be able to maintain it.

Because as we discussed a multiple times, the calories need to be in a negative balance in order to lose weight, meaning that more number of calories should be used by our body than the number of calories it intakes. This will make the body use energy by burning fat.

Only exercising for 1 hour can help you to burn 250 calories, whereas in diet, you can directly reduce up to 500 calories, and burn more fat. I have shared the information about the number of calories which you need to consume in another video, the link to which is given below.

And the meaning of diet is not only low calorie count, but also healthy and nutritious. And this nutrition also helps you to lose weight in many ways and keeps you healthy.

According to experts, weight loss is possible without exercising but it is quite difficult to lose weight with only exercising, as no one can exercise for 3-4 hours.

So the best way is to focus on both, diet and exercise. Follow a low caloric and nutritious diet and exercise for at least 30 mins every day.

This is just my personal experience. The people whom I have personally guided to lose weight have achieved results mostly by following a proper diet.

And if you too focus on your diet then you can lose weight as well.
