15 Jun Summer Drinks for Weight Loss – Detox and Juices
Aim – In this video we are going to talk about some cool and refreshing drinks which you can drink during summers, and also has options such as detox water and juices.

When you talk about weight loss drinks at home, we know that these low caloric drinks have 2 specialties. One is that it detoxifies our body, removing all toxins and prepares our body for weight loss. And the second is, these drinks are highly nutritious, which improves our health.
And if we talk about summer weight loss drink then it should have one more benefit. its effect should be cooling, through which it can reduce inflammation and your body remains hydrated during summer, because dehydration reduces the metabolism of your body by 5%.
Today we are going to talk about 2 such drinks.
The first is,
Lemon, Cucumber, Mint Leaves Detox water – This is one of the most popular detox drinks. We all know that mint and cucumber have cooling properties, and this is one of the low caloric and nutritious drinks which make your digestive system healthy.
It is really simple to prepare this. Add ½ sliced cucumber, 8-10 mint leaves and 1 slice of lemon in 2 liters of water, and put it in the fridge overnight. Your summer drink will be ready by morning. To make it tastier, you can adjust the quantity of cucumber, lemon and mint leaves according to your requirement.
But it is not necessary that you have to add all three ingredients. You can just prepare only lemon water or cucumber water or mint leaves water according to your wish and taste. But it is obvious that if you add all three ingredients then it will be more beneficial for weight loss.
You can sip on this drink slowly throughout the day instead of water.
The second weight loss drink is,
Cucumber Coriander Juice – Well it is more accurate to call this a smoothie than juice, because instead of a juicer, you need to prepare this drink in a blender. Similar to cucumber, coriander also has cooling properties and also detoxifies your body.
Apart from cucumber and coriander, we are also going to add some herbs and spices in this juice, which will increase the weight loss properties of this drink.
To make this, add 1 glass of cold water, chopped cucumber and chopped coriander in a blender. Add some cumin powder (jeera powder), some ginger (adrak), 1 pinch of hing and black salt (kala namak), and blend well.
And your refreshing summer weight loss drink is ready. You can drink 1 to 2 glasses in a day. But make sure that you prepare it fresh each time before drinking.
Cucumber Coriander Juice is my personal favorite weight loss drink. It has a lot of benefits for weight loss. It especially clears your stomach of bacterial infection. It mainly reduces liver fat, and reduces belly fat too.
The 3rd summer drink is,
Coconut water – Now what should I tell you about this? Coconut water is number 1 in the list of healthiest drinks. Also, it is a low caloric, refreshing and nutritious summer drink. It is a fiber, protein and Vitamin C rich drink and all these nutrients solely help in losing weight.
If you go to the market during the day, drink only coconut water instead of any other drink. Along with making you hydrated, it will also increase your metabolism which will help you to burn more calories.
And if you want to make an easy summer drink then what is easier and quicker than lemon water? Just prepare lemon water with black salt, and do not add sugar.
You must be thinking that none of these are fruit juices. During weight loss, we should avoid fruit juices. Fruit juices are high in calories and low in nutrition. And they are especially low in fiber content, through which they are digested easily and we start getting hungry sooner.
