09 Nov October – Happy Diwali – Lost Good Weight With a lot of experiments

I hope that all of you must have enjoyed during Diwali. My Diwali was great too because I lost a lot of weight in this month. Yes it is hard to believe, Diwali is our most important festival in which we eat a lot of luscious sweets in an amazing variety. This is the first Diwali wherein I ate only 1 or 2 sweets, otherwise we tend to eat only special food during these 4 to 5 days. I did not leave my diet and god gave me a good reward for that.
Let us now talk about my weight.
My weight is now: 76 Kg
Weight lost in the past 1 and a half month: 4 kgs
Total weight lost: 14 kgs
In the past one and a half month, I experimented a lot with my diet, because my weight was losing at a slow pace. As I told you earlier in the past month, I want to increase my weight loss speed but I did not understand how it would happen, because instead of losing weight at a faster pace, my weight was stuck between 79- 80 kgs. But after a few changes, in the last 15- 20 days, I started losing weight and once when approximately within a month, I lost only a kilo, in the next 15 to 20 days, I lost 3 kgs. It means that the changes in my diet resulted in the breaking of weight loss plateau.
Although, I fell into depression due to the slow weight loss and I became irritated. And when you are in depression, you feel that why I am doing this if it is having no effect at all. Amongst all this, I felt like quitting everything and to cheat, but as I said earlier, I feel that if I am not able to lose weight this time despite all the hard work, I would not be able to lose weight anytime ever. This thought did not let me slip and my husband was the most supporting in this. Even he started researching about this to find the reason behind this. And then we made some changes in the diet.
Now I am going to tell you what all changes I made in the last one and a half month.
15 Sep- 30 Sep
This is the same diet which I updated during the last month, through which my hard fat started to convert into soft fat and I lost weight too.
I followed this diet for around a month, from 1 September till 30 September. But when my weight was not steady at 78- 79 kgs again on 1 October, it showed 78 kgs and mostly 79 kgs or more, I felt that I had to make more changes in the diet.
To break the weight loss plateau, to increase the pace of weight loss and to maintain its speed, some changes in diet are always necessary.
So firstly I reduced the intake of my diet. Like,
- Sprout salad (8.45 am) which I used to take 100 grams, I reduced that to 55 to 60 grams.
- And chapatti (4 pm) was reduced to half (which I used to take one full).
- Along with this, the amount of juice which was 250 ml was reduced to 175 ml (almost half).
- Apart from that, the jeera ajvaain water which I took in the morning was replaced with a new tea, which is cinnamon and ginger boiled in water along with lemon water. Since I was consuming the jeera ajvaain water from around 2 months, I had to change it.
- Along with this lemon water, I started chewing around 10 grams of curry leaves.
This is the way my diet was followed
Morning food
5.30 am – One glass warm water
6.00 am – Soaked fenugreek seeds (now I started consuming only fenugreek, I throw away its water)
6.30 am – ¼ apple + 30 grams pomegranate
7.15 am – Cinnamon- ginger tea- strain cinnamon and ginger after adding it in boiled water and drink it after squeezing half a lemon and adding black salt. (175 ml + 10 grams curry leaves).
8.45 am – Sprouted seeds salad (take different types of seeds every day, around 20 to 25 grams soaked + 25 grams (tomato, onion, green chilies, green coriander, some curry leaves and 1 spoon flax seeds powder).
10.00 am – Coriander juice 175 ml
Day’s food
1.00 pm – Oats (40 grams cooked)
2.00 pm – Vegetable salad (30 grams tomato + 20- 25 grams cucumber)
2.30 pm – 1 tsp tahini seeds
4.00 pm – ½ chapatti + a small amount of vegetables
5.30 pm – Green tea (175 ml)
Dinner
7.30 pm – 1 glass lemon water with black salt
10.30 pm – ½ protein ladoo- 10 grams
I followed this diet for 15 days from 1 October till 15 October but still my weight reached 78 and came back again. Now I thought that I should do something else, some more small changes which were still left to imply.
Some more important changes Which helped
Started Eating more in Dinner – Since I was having only lemon water and ½ protein ladoo for dinner, I realized that I got hungry during night. Since I ate very less during night, I started suffering from a bit of constipation. And from my journey till date, I got to know that if your stomach is not well, you are not going to lose weight at any cost. That is why if I want that the stomach stays clean and the metabolism rate stays at a speedy rate, I will have to start eating something else at night.
That is the reason I started having either oats or soup for dinner at night. Vegetable soup in which cabbage, tomato, green chilies, etc, is added in boiled water along with black salt and Black Pepper.
Way of taking Cumin – And the cumin consumption which I had stopped earlier was started again. But I changed the way of consuming it. As earlier I used to consume cumin after boiling it, I have now made it into a powder after roasting it and now I take ½ spoon of roasted cumin powder with the warm water which I took in the morning.
coconut oil in Warm Water – Now I have started drinking warm water during night after adding 1 spoon coconut oil to it, which does not allow constipation to occur. And that worked really well.
In this manner, I changed my diet more and more due to which my weight would lose at a faster pace.
These types of changes started melting my weight and it was then stable at 77. And sometimes it went to 76 and back again. And on 31 October, my weight stayed 76 kgs for the whole day. It is showing 76 kgs for the next days and it is now stable on 76 kgs…
Yepee in this manner my weight is now 76 kgs. Now I feel a bit happy
I had to make a lot of changes but it had a lot of benefits. Once when I used to lose weight at a speed of 1.5 kgs per month, this time it has increased and gone up to almost 3 kgs. I will try my best to maintain this speed, which is not going to be easy, but all is in God’s hands.
Now my depression has reduced too and I have gained the power to work better. Now new energy is being filled in me.
I still have to lose 16 more kgs according to my target but now I am enjoying losing weight. I hope my weight gets reduced up to 72 kgs till November end, yes it is difficult but I will try my best.
