Proper sleep helps you to stay healthy. But did you know that proper sleep is necessary for weight loss as well? Sleeping less for 2-3 days in a month does not matter, but what if you do it every day?

Several medical studies have proved that if you continuously sleep for less than 7 hours, you hunger hormones get imbalanced, which leads you to eat more.

You crave for more high carbohydrate and high fat food, and your meal size increases. Overall, you tend to start overeating.

Apart from this, you feel tired all the time and thus you skip exercising. Sleeping less also decreases your metabolic rate. Basically, everything sums up to increase your weight, and your fat burning rate decreases as well.

Even if you are following a proper diet, your fat burning rate decreases by 45%. It means that no one can save you from being overweight.

So, proper sleep is really necessary to stay healthy and also for your weight loss. If you want to lose weight, then consider proper sleep as your weight loss nutrition and sleep for at least 8-9 hours daily, which will help your body to balance the hunger hormones and you would be able to lose weight in a healthy manner.
