Video 7 – How Much Should You Walk to Lose Weight?

Hello friends, so this is a much discussed question. Can you lose weight through only walking? The answer is yes, we can.

But it will take a lot of time. To lose 0.5 kg in one week, you would need to walk for 7.5 kms, which is one hour at high speed, every day, which is practically not possible for most of us. Many of us can only walk for 30 mins at an average speed, which barely helps for weight loss.

It can keep you fit but cannot reduce fat. Practically speaking, 30 mins cardio, yoga or any high intensity training can help you a lot more in losing weight.

But if you are planning to lose weight only through walking, then you need to increase your speed and distance.

You would need to walk 8 km daily, at a high speed, and pay attention to your posture at the same time.

If you walk with your back straight, it will help you more for your weight loss. And remember, your diet plays a higher role in your weight loss as compared to exercise, so pay special attention to your diet.
