You will need: 1 liter water, 2 tablespoons fennel seeds and a glass jar.

Method:

Pour 1 liter of water in a glass jar and add the fennel seeds to it.

Cover the jar with a lid and let it steep till morning. In Morning Your fennel water is ready to use.

You just need to prepare this mixture at night and you are good to go in the morning without wasting any time. The fennel seeds soak in water and swell, and thus settle at the bottom of the jar.

Also Called Fennel seeds tea, It’s also easy to make.

You will need: 1 tablespoon fennel seeds, 500 ml water and a pan.

Method:

  1. Pour the water in a pan and Boil it to a temperature when the water starts boiling.
  2. Add the fennel seeds at this point and turn off the flame.
  3. Pour this hot mixture into a container and cover it with a lid. Let it cool.
  4. Once the mixture has cooled down, pour it in a glass and drink it.

You can either prepare fresh fennel seeds tea every day or you can make it in a huge quantity and store it to drink every day.

Ajwain is another ingredient helpful in losing weight and if combined with fennel, it can do wonders. Also known as carom seeds, this ingredient are helpful in improving digestion and reduce bloating, which causes extra weight gain.

Fennel Seeds water Side Effects and Limitations

It is recommended that you drink only 1 liter of the prepared fennel seeds water throughout the day as fennel seeds can cause some complications as well. If you are opting for fennel tea, then make sure to not have more than 2 to 3 cups per day.

  • Over consumption of fennel seeds can cause allergic reactions which might be unknown to you. Those who are allergic to Saunf can develop rashes, swelling or can face breathing problems.
  • Use of fennel seeds is strictly prohibited to pregnant women. It can cause menstruation and can develop premature breasts in girls.
  • Some practitioners also suggest to not using fennel water while on antibiotics. If you feel the need to consume fennel while on antibiotics, then make sure that you do not consume it 2 hours before and after your medication time.

In my opinion you should not drink fennel water more than 15 days, for weight loss always change these detox drinks in every 15 days otherwise our body gets used to it and specific drink no longer effects.  Here are few options like Jeera Water, Fenugreek Water, Ginger tea, Coriander leaves juice.
