Today we are going to talk about one such drink which we all are familiar with and which helps a lot in losing weight as well, but yet we do not use it properly.

The healthiest drink which we are referring to is coconut water, which is 100% natural and pure. And especially when you step out of your house during summer and feel dehydrated, you drink soft drinks or any sugary juice. But we tend to forget the best option, which is coconut water.
Nowadays you can easily find coconuts in juice shops, vegetables shops and groceries in North India. So whenever you go out, keep this option of coconut water in your minds during summer.
We all know that coconut water is quite nutritious. From our heart to blood sugar, it is quite beneficial for our body. That is the reason why doctors suggest their patients to drink it.
But here we are going to talk only about its weight loss properties.
The first is, it is low in calories. One young green coconut contains around 250 ml of water, which has around 45 calories and so it is quite less when compared to any fruit juice or sugarcane juice.
The second is, it has a high amount of fiber, around 3 grams. It gives us 2 benefits.
Firstly, fiber slows down our digestion process which keeps us feeling full for a longer time, and we do not feel any craving as well. Secondly, it makes our digestion better which does not let problems such as gas and constipation to occur. Which makes it one of the best summer drinks.
Also, 250 ml of coconut water has 2 grams of protein, which reduces your hunger as well.
According to some experts, it also increases your metabolism. It also has antioxidant properties which detoxifies your body, which is important property of any weight loss drink.
Now let us talk about its fat and sugar content. It has 5 grams of fat, which is almost equal to zero. But it contains 6.5 grams of sugar, so do not consume more of it. 1 glass of coconut water, that is, 250 ml is enough.
Now it shows that it is a healthy and weight loss friendly drink. But I also know that it is not a pocket friendly drink, even I do not drink it every day.
But you can prepare a number of weight loss drinks at home, which are far more nutritious and sugar free such as cucumber coriander juice, bottle gourd (lauki) or carrot juice, etc or lemon chia seeds water.
But whenever we step out of our house, we search for healthy drinks but end up drinking those sugary drinks again, and tend to forget coconut water.
So remember this light, refreshing and cook coconut water drink, and reap its benefits from time to time.
