Why Green Tea for Weight Loss?

As I mentioned above, green tea plays a great role in triggering weight loss and promoting fitness. How exactly does green tea help in weight loss? Let’s find out.

Green tea is loaded with antioxidants named as catechin polyphenols, which help in intensifying levels of fat oxidation and increases metabolic rate. The body is detoxified of harmful substances and all the toxins are released, which help in accelerating the weight loss process. The harmful byproducts known as free radicals are produced when energy is generated. These radicals are harmful as they damage our cells. Antioxidants in cells help in eradicating these harmful radicals, and helping you stay healthy.

How Much Green Tea Should You Drink for Weight Loss

You are well aware by now that green tea helps a lot in losing weight. So you must be thinking to live on green tea the whole day instead of eating anything else. But let me tell you, anything in excess is bad for your health. And so is the case with green tea. You need not drink 7 to 10 cups of green tea in a day to lose weight. In fact, around 3 to 5 cups ( Around 750 ml) per day is sufficient, which is the ‘optimal’ dosage. But then again, if you want to see faster results, you should not stick to just one cup per day.

Healthy Alternatives to Green Tea

Yeah There are many good alternatives like Curry leaves tea, cinnamon and honey tea, Fennel seeds tea, Hot Coriander Leaves Juice etc. Which works as good antioxidants and helps much in weight loss.
