24 Apr Cheat days – Good or bad for weight loss
In this video we are going to talk about whether cheat days will assist you in weight loss or they would simply ruin all the hard work put in.
Hello friends, I am Seema and I have lost 28 kgs with a 100% natural way. And I share my experience through these videos.
During weight loss when we hear about cheat days, we think that we can eat any food which we desire, and eat various tasty food items till our minds are satisfied. And again back to diet and exercise from the next day, which will help in regular weight loss. Doesn’t it seem like a “Wow” and dreamy situation?
But does it really happen? Let us talk about it now.
There are 2 good things about cheat days,
1. First is, you get to eat your favorite food in between the boring diet, that too, guilt free. It refills the energy in you. By waiting for that day, you follow your diet regularly during the other days.
2. Second is, if you eat junk food once during cheat days, your metabolism increases at that time. That is really an amazing thing.
The first point is important but when you eat high-caloric and high carb food throughout the cheat day, your body which you have prepared for weight loss will face negative effects. We all clearly know this by now.
So eating high caloric meals all throughout the day during your cheat day is not right.
But what about our temptations? We cannot always keep on following this boring diet.
So there is a healthy solution to this.
Follow the 90:10 rule in weight loss. Take in 90% healthy calories during the week and 10% of your favorite homemade food. This will lead to very less negative effects and your mind would be satisfied.
It is also okay if you eat food outside at times. But keep track of your calories. And try to prepare your favorite dishes at home, and prepare a healthier version of them. You can find a healthier version of every dish online.
See, you will have to follow all these. Do not consider regular cheat days, you do not want to put all the hard work and your aims in vain.
So try preparing healthier versions of your favorite dishes and follow the 90:10 rule.
And once in a month or 2, there is not a major problem if you eat any of your favorite and unhealthy food. It is also a part of weight loss; after all we need to live. But make sure it does not occur frequently.
I hope you find these points meaningful. And if you do, please like and share this video so that more people can know about it.
That’s it for now.
