Aim – In this video we are going to talk about those 5 lifestyle changes or habits which are extremely important to incorporate in order to lose weight. These habits will accelerate your weight loss process.
Hello friends, I am Seema and I have lost 28 kgs of weight in a 100% natural and healthy way. I am sharing my weight loss experience with you guys through these videos.
As we all know, our weight loss depends on 70% diet, 20% exercise and 10% lifestyle changes.
Today we are going to talk about those 10% lifestyle changes. These 10% changes will make losing weight easier, and are extremely necessary to make your weight loss regular and quicker.
The first and most effective is – Sleep for at least 7-8 hours. This is such an important factor that there have been a number of researches for it. And according to a study, if you do not take a proper sleep then your diet will show a 45% reduction in its effects. So however strictly you follow your diet, it will not show the same effect which it should actually do.
And we all know how depressing it is when our diet does not show any effect.
Also, if you do not sleep properly then you will feel tired all day long, will have more cravings and you will not feel like exercising at all. So it will make your losing weight really difficult.
So at least for 7-8 hours minimum.
The second habit which you need to incorporate is, pre- prepare your diet. Whenever you follow a weight loss diet, you need to eat more times in less portion sizes. But to eat more times you need to cook or prepare as well. Now you are not going to prepare or cook within every 2-3 hours. When you won’t cook, you won’t eat, and your hunger will increase slowly followed by cravings.
Now during hunger, we really crave for quick, unhealthy and junk foods. And if we eat it and it happens quite frequently then your dieting is in vain. And when you haven’t followed a proper diet, how will it show its effects?
So however and whatever is possible, prepare meals for the whole day. And keep healthy snacks with you so that whenever you feel hungry you can eat them. Do not stay hungry, otherwise our stomach will take full control of our brain and heart and we will end up eating uncontrollably.
The third habit is, quit eating sweet and sugary foods as much as possible, especially the ones made out of white sugar. Because the food items made out of white sugar have high amount of calories and zero nutrition. Be it sweets, soft drinks, juices, leave everything out, or consume them as little as possible, almost equal to zero.
Because for weight loss, we need to eat such foods which have high nutrition and less amount of calories.
Also, food made out of sugar increases your blood sugar levels, and it reduces after a while, which makes you hungry again and you end up eating again.
The fourth habit is to exercise for at least 30 mins. We all know that exercise increases our metabolism and we burn more calories, and our body gets in shape quickly.
But here exercise doesn’t only mean gymming, you can brisk walk, do cycling, dancing or play any sport such as badminton.
According to me, you should choose such a sport which interests you, only then you will be able to follow it regularly. Most of us pay a year’s gym fee and hardly go for a month, only because we do not gain an interest in it and do not enjoy it.
So choose this 30 mins of activity wisely and keep on changing it.
The fifth good habit which you need to incorporate is to maintain a food diary. There are a number of benefits from it, which will tell you whether you have followed your entire diet or not, and your regularity increases.
We change our diet foods every 10-15 days for weight loss. Within a few months, we are clear that which food items are really helpful and which are not.
Along with this, if you are cheating more on your diet then you need to answer yourself while adding it in your diary. It will help you to control more from the next time.
So whenever you plan to start your weight loss, do prepare a food diary.
